Firstly let me apologise for being so quiet for so long and not giving you an update on Match Racing periodically. I just seem to have been caught up with administration and though that doesn't seem to show any signs of stopping I shall tickle your e mail boxes periodically in the future to keep you posted.
All the events including dates for clinics through the year are updated on the website calender. If there ar any doubts reg clinic dates etc that is the final word.
The Nationals this year was pretty exciting with us winning all our races upto the finals where we lost 2-0 to Farokh who sailed the Finals brilliantly and just seemed to be able to generate a touch more speed in the choppy conditions with very little wind. Its great to have more guys sailing well as this would spur the teams to push each other further, raise their game and should reflect on International results in the future. We also welcome Capt Garg into the fold of Umpires who along with the Chief Umpire Mr Balram and National Umpires Naresh Yadav and Homi Motivala seemed to derive perverse pleasure in waving flags and making us go around in disgruntled circles!! R Singh as usual did a quiet and wonderful job as PRO for the event. We all(competitors and organisers) thank them for sparing their time and being on the water for over 8 hours a day through the event and hope many more of you come forward to officiate at events.
THE FUTURE SEEMS EXCITING ..........

I HOPE ALL OF YOU COME IN LARGE NUMBERS WITH AS MUCH CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM AND WAYS TO ENHANCE TRAINING, CONDUCT OF EVENTS AND BETTERMENT OF ANY SPHERES WHERE YOU FIND US LACKING SO WE COULD PLUG THE DEFICIENCIES AND MOVE FORWARD.
Happy sailing once again and look forward to meeting all of you on the water!
